General Information
Please read these carefully, by continuing to use this website you are indicating your agreement to be bound by such terms and conditions without modification.

Booking Conditions:
Holiday in Britain Limited ('HiB') acts as a booking agent on behalf of all the hotels, car hire supplier and other third party suppliers featured on this website. Accordingly your contract will be directly with the supplier. Terms and conditions will apply to all bookings made through HiB and to all members of your party.

Booking Process:
Whilst HiB attempts to maintain an accurate inventory as possible of all available hotel accommodation it might not always be possible to guarantee the specific accommodation requested. In these circumstances HiB will endeavour to work with the supplier to provide you with a satisfactory alternative. In the likely event the accommodation requested is available HiB will provide confirmation by e mail within 48 hours of the original request. Alternatively we reserve the right to contact you either by telephone or e mail to discuss suitable alternatives.

Your Contract:
The binding contract with the supplier will become effective when the e mail confirmation has been sent to you and only at that point will the booking conditions become effective. Please check this confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it as it may not be possible to make changes later. Both parties agree that any dispute, claim or other matter that arises out of or in connection with this contract or your holiday will be dealt with in the Courts of England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland as appropriate.

Payments:
No payment will be taken for the booking until the booking has been fully confirmed and confirmation has been sent.

A payment representing the full booking deposit will be taken shortly after the confirmation is sent. This deposit will represent 10% of the total accommodation cost together with deposits for other services which will be detailed at the time of booking.

No further payment will be made to HiB unless in the case of an amendment or cancellation. The balance will be payable upon arrival directly to the hotel or supplier or at the point of collection in the case of car hire.

Cancellations:
If you have to change your booking for any reason it is necessary to advise HiB directly via e mail. The cancellation fee will usually be restricted to the level of the deposit paid. Occasionally, such as when an accommodation provider is running at maximum occupancy, HiB or the accommodation provider may contact you for your debit, charge or credit card details to guarantee your booking in full. In these circumstances if you cancel within 14 days of your planned arrival date or fail to arrive having agreed to guarantee your booking with the accommodation provider, the full cost of the booking may be charged. This will be collected directly from your debit or credit card.

Amendments:
If you wish to make changes to any details of your holiday after we have sent confirmation we will make every effort to assist and will work with the suppliers to seek a satisfactory solution. A standard HiB administration fee of £15 will be charged for any change confirmed. Any resultant change in the cost from the supplier will be the responsibility of the customer.

Special Requests:
If you have any special requests that do not form part of the standard booking, ie. champagne in the room or dietary requirement, please let us know and we will pass on the request to the supplier and attempt to assist in ensuring these are met. We cannot however guarantee that the supplier will be able to meet such a request and cannot be held liable to you in this respect.

Changes and Cancellations by us:
Occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control we may be forced to change or cancel confirmed bookings. In this situation we will do our up most to seek a satisfactory alternative product of a similar standard. We will offer the choice of the alternative arrangements or cancel the booking will a full and prompt refund. We will not offer compensation and no liability beyond offering the above choices can be accepted.

Information pertaining to hotels, car hire, featured events and activities are based on information provided by the suppliers and were cleared for accuracy at the point in time they were loaded onto the website. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of such information visitors should be aware that the information may be incomplete, inaccurate or may be out of date. Products and services available from HiB are developing and changing, therefore information from this website ought to be used for guidance only. HiB can accept no responsibility for the consequences of any actions based on information or advise contained on this website.

Privacy Policy:
In order for you to make a booking HiB will need to ask for personal information. This data may be passed on as necessary to third party service providers when you book a service through the HiB website. We can confirm HiB will not forward your personal details to any other third parties. HiB may use your details to make you aware of any offers, promotions or new service directly from HiB. If you choose to discontinue this service you may indicate this at the end of the booking or subsequently by e mail.

Responsibility:
You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use the website in accordance with the terms and conditions. You agree to be financially responsible for the payment on behalf of all members of the booking.

Contractual Relationship:
HiB acts only as a booking agent on behalf of the hotels and suppliers contained on the HiB website. Accordingly we can not be held liable for any illness , personal injury, death or loss of any kind , unless caused by our negligence. Any such claim must be brought directly against the supplier. Your contract is with the supplier who may well have additional terms and conditions governing the contract. It is your responsibility to check these with the appropriate supplier.

Complaints Procedure:
If you have any complaints about a Hotel or other service booked through HiB you must inform them immediately in order to enable them to resolve the problem. In the event this is not resolved you should contact our Customer Service Representative by telephone who will act as an intermediary on your behalf in an attempt to facilitate a satisfactory solution. In the event that we are unable to do so , and you wish to take the matter further you must do so directly with the service provider.
